Seven Brothers had warmth, personality, and loyal regulars. What they didn't have was a website that reflected any of that. The existing site was generic. It could have belonged to any restaurant group, and said nothing about the family story, the sourcing philosophy, or the neighbourhood character that made their restaurants worth visiting.
The brief was to build a Squarespace website as distinctive as the experience of eating at a Seven Brothers restaurant, one that made new visitors want to come in before they'd even looked at the menu.
We led with the story: who the brothers are, where the food comes from, and what makes eating at a Seven Brothers restaurant different from the dozens of alternatives nearby. The family narrative was given prominent space on the homepage and About page, not relegated to a footer footnote.
Each restaurant location got its own dedicated Squarespace page with photos from the actual space, the current menu, opening hours, and a clear booking link. Location pages were also an opportunity for local SEO, with each page structured to target searches in the specific neighbourhood.
The design was warm and textured: photography-led layouts with a colour palette pulled from the restaurant interiors. Editorial in feel, not corporate. A custom events section let the team publish and promote specials, supper clubs, and seasonal events without any external help.
A site as warm and characterful as the restaurants themselves. The family story and location pages give each restaurant its own identity within the group, and the team manages all content updates, menu changes, and event listings independently through Squarespace.
